Yeah I bought some for creek jr a couple years ago. It was a hoot to watch him when they started to pop. Then after he knew what to expect I had him try them with some Sprite for that extra added kick. He was hooked.

A lot of the candy mentioned in this thread (almost all) can now be bought at Meijer. They have this cart that looks like a wagon at the start of one of the check-outs. I was thrilled when I saw slow-poks, now or laters, skore bars, mallow cups and many many more

    Funny story...
The first time I found the wagon, I decided to stock TB up on mallow cups (she loves them). There was a little old man (I mean with cane and hardly able to stand)) behind me waiting for me to finish. When I decided I had all I wanted he asked me if I was sure because he was buying all that was left! He grabbed the rest of the box (had to be about 25 left) and headed for the check-out! He was so excited and said his wife would probably have a heart attack when he showed them to her!! Was kind of sweet! He couldn't get out of the store fast enough

Frosty's Root Beer and Milkshake candy bars are a couple I miss. Fortunately, my favorite childhood treat is still available, except I now don't eat it as often: my mom's apple pies.

My mom used to make peanut butter pinwheels. I'm not sure what the ingredients were, other than peanut butter. Chill them in the fridge, and eat them with milk.

    Man, I loved those.

Orange Crush in a glass bottle. Occasionally they have some at Sam's.

Any cola/soda/pop/(insert local term here) in a glass bottle, for that matter.

Barbeque sandwiches from GACís grandmothers country ice-cream stand, mild mouth-watering delight, I have tried for years to duplicate the taste at home and cannot and have never really appreciated any other barbeque as much.

Coca Cola, Snickers, Pay Day, had a great taste in the 60ís-70ís before they meddled with the ingredients.
