We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner. The kids got Pop Rocks at the candy counter.

The van was filled with Pop Rock crackles on the drive home. I told the kids it sounded like aliens were eating their brains.

The pizza (what a shock) they used to serve at school, now say what you will about school lunches, but that pizza was great..end up trading the rest of your lunch to any person who would give up their pizza

That brings bcak a long forgotten memory. My folks both worked and got home a little after 5:00. I loved that apple Bubs Daddy Gum. Every time I chewed it, my Dad could tell by the smell in the house. He yelled at me every time. He really could tell by the smell even though the gum was already gone.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.
