Is anyone, outside of those east-coasters, fired up about this game?

I'm pulling for the Colts over the Steelers.

That would have been my best match with the teams that made the playoffs.

My dislike for FOX has reached epic proportions. The worst directing I've ever seen, more inane graphics than Super Mario.

They shouldn't be allowed to broadcast a dog show, much less the Super Bowl or World Series.

RFS, I think TV coverage of football is now designed for the generation raised on video games. IMHO, some of that stuff is helpful. For instance, I love the First Down line. That makes the game so much easier to follow and explain. But I would say that the arrow with down and distance is gratuitous.

You're obviously not a betting man.

It's just one more step in the dumbing down of America. If you aren't bright enough to know which way the ball is going you shouldn't have control of the remote.

Right on both counts. I don't bet (except for a few sqaures in the pool) and I'm not a man.

Oh Yeah! Macca still has the voice! My daughter asked how old he was. I said he's 62. She responded that that is kinda old to still be playing the guitar. I would've smacked her, but I'm still paying for the dental work. :allovrjr:

A wild first half. Very un-patriotic of the Pats. Alot of mistakes, and very sloppy on both teams. The Eagles could have very easily had 4 turnovers.

The refereeing is pretty mediocre too.

I still say the Pats will come out on top.

I don't mind the first down line, I'm talking about all the cut aways and being late back to the snap.

That was a great halftime show, though. No thanks to FOX, it's the NFL trying to make up for last year. Same with the excellent pre-game national anthem.
