I have no specific "link" other than things that I have read about the interrogations of "Chemical Ali" and some of the scientists who were placed in charge of the Iraq WMD program. Supposedly, many details will be forthcoming during the uncoming war crime tribunals for Hussein and Ali.

I like the second choice the best, but unfortunately, people have been trying to figure out how to do this since the beginning of time. I don't see an answer anywhere on the horizon.

Are you the ONLY person who has read this information? Let me guess -- you've been watching FOX news and reading the Drudge report.

As for the resolutions, please explain how difficult it is for nations to sign a worthless document and then back out when it comes time to enforce those resolutions? It seems pretty easy to me, since there is really no accountability in the UN.

The U.S. was insisting that Iraq had WMDs and that we had proof of their existence, and the other UN nations agreed, believing that we would eventually produce the evidence. When Bush couldn't come through with any real evidence, those other nations decided that maybe it wasn't a good idea.

Now independent inquiries and even members of the Bush administration (Bush, Powell, et al.) have admitted that Iraq had NO WMDs. Do you really think they had proof that the WMDs were in Iraq, but then they somehow lost track of them right before they invaded? When the eyes of the world were watching? If that's the case, then Bush screwed up even worse that we first thought.

Why waste zeros and ones debating the USA's entry into WW2 to the Invasion of Iraq?

    Talk about revisionist history.

Hmm... well, I'll definitely be interested in learning more about that if and when the details come to light.

I'm all for scientific advances, but this is a humpty dumpty project. They've proven is the technology they're trying to apply to the problem doesn't work. What they need to do is re-think the concept, which isn't going to happen when contractors (not scientists) are sucking billions of dollars from the federal teat.

Dude, Footstool was the one bringing up the "other world powers," not me. What would your analogy have been, the Faulkland Islands? My whole point was just that this whole friggin country was founded on people desiring to no longer be repressed. You fight for what you believe in, period. If Kerry claimed during his latest campaign that the presidential election would be a "de facto" vote on the War in Iraq. Well, be careful what you wish for....

I think TALON News reported it. But for some odd reason their website has been taken down. Something about being the propraganda arm of the government.

Sounds like you are down with the UN when they act upon idealogical lines that you agree with, but other times they are simply a farce? You mention how the US "ignores" other countries and then turn around and discredit their diplomatic forum with your comments. Let me guess, you were okay with Bosnia--right? Oh yeah, I forgot, Clinton was in office then.
