it doesnt look like abc will be running a new season of the mole this year. i am extremely disappointed in abc, almost to the point where i am going to boycott them. now this isnt clinical depression like i experienced when seinfeld called it quits, but nevertheless, it stinks. i have already written abc a letter asking them to bring back the show. i guess my only question would be is if i am the only one who watches the mole or are there any other mole fans out there.

Man, before this thread turns ugly, let me answer your question. Yes, I watched "the mole". I liked it better when it wasn't celebrity mole, although some of the celebrities on the show were hot, it was better when it was just regular everyday people. Not sure if I'm sad, or not sad about it not coming back. Don't really care really. It's about time reality TV started phasing out in a Darwinistic way. The last to survive of the reality shows? My guess is the Amazing Race.

When I read the subject of this thread, my first thought was of the rich and spicy Mexican seasoning, molé, and a tale of woe involving overconsumption of it. :MandJ:
I liked the first and second seasons of The Mole. The two installments with celebrities didn't even inspire me to seek them out, after I saw one episode. Ahmad Rashad's easygoing, nice-guy approach drained a lot of fun out of the show, compared to Anderson Cooper's wry takes.

Yes, I watched it and was also disappointed that it wouldn't be returning. I liked celebrity mole better than the "no-name" one, reason being.... it allowed us to see them as real people (warts and all).
I also like The Amazing Race very much... it's the only reality show I watch.
