That's two offseasons in a row he's been extended. This organization is going in the right direction. I'm hoping that, just like Patriots fans, who are probably having a tough time remembering the decades of losing, mediocrity and mismanagement, that Bengals fans will soon be able to conveniently forget the 90s and early part of this decade.

Smart move on the Bengals part. I really do think ML's a keeper.

Sweet...Marvin has given the Bengals 16 wins in two season...quite a turn around from 10, 8, or even 4 wins in 2 years. I love what Marvin has accomplished and I feel that if the Bengals keep heading in the same direction we will be seeing them on a Saturday Wild Card playoff game. In reality I see the Bengals having a 9-7 record this year (if Palmer stays healthy and continues his great play), but my heart says 10-6 with a Wild Card playoff spot in the 2005 playoffs!

Who-Dey think gonna beat dem' Bengals?

Still no winning seasons in what? Fourteen years? Hell,8-8 ought to get him a lifetime contract.

    Go Browns!

Browns are still working on that first Super Bowl appearance, aren't they?

I like it! Lets just go ahead and sign him through 2010.

Not that you can ever know for sure with how much the NFL changes from year to year, but the Bengals have a much more favorable schedule next year. I seriously think 11 wins is pretty possible, and that's without the Bengals improving much from this year.

Both the Browns and Bengals can take comfort in the fact that they had ridiculously tough schedules this year.

I love Marvin, but I'm having a hard time getting over last year's first round pick.

We could have had Steven Jackson, Julius Jones, Kevin Jones, or Tatum Bell and instead got Chris Perry. It might pan out, but the other ones are looking a lot better right now.

I just can't figure out how the Bengals keep picking the wrong guy out of so many good choices.

I agree. I am not a fan of Chris Perry as a starting RB in the NFL. oooh Julius Jones would have been nice. I just hope and pray that the first pick this year will be a stud whatever position he may be playing! Go Bengals.

Your apology is duly noted, and appreciated. Don't let it happen again, child, or you'll get sent to your room without supper.
