No matter what game you get make sure to post a review here or on the other baseball game thread. I plan on getting MLB 2k5 and will be sure to get a review up as soon as I have a chance to start playing it.

I picked up a copy of MVP05 for the PC yesterday at EB Games here in Louisville. From what I've seen at mvpmods.com, this area of the country was the first to get it.
MLB 2k5 should be in stores today. When EA announced MVP early, Take 2 (Formerly ESPN, Formerly SEGA) also pushe their release day up to the 22nd. The local Gamestop here should have it today.
If you want some first impressions of MVP they are up over at Operation Sports. If you don't want to register, I could give a synopsis of what they have been saying.
As far as rosters go, it might not be a problem for me. I just hooked up my new slimmer PS2 online last week and played Madden. Before you can play you have to download the rosters, which had Roethlisberger starting for Pittsburgh and Jerry Rice on the Seahawks. I'm hoping the same thing is true with MVP and the rosters are kept up-to-date.
BTW, I'm heading out in a few minutes to hunt down a copy. I'll try to get a review up tonight.
So which game is better?
EA Sports MVP 2005
or
MLB 2k5?
Which game do you suggest I buy for the X-box?
If you think small, you'll go nowhere in life.
If its available here in town I'll get a copy for the pc at lunch.
Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

I've seen the impressions from MVP and it looks really good from the user input. Not a lot changed from the 2004 version, but with much better gameplay, and fixes of the bugs from last year. The added Owner-mode seems to require you to build a new stadium to use it, but overall impressions are very favorable. You can play as the MLB Club, AAA, AA, and High A
I haven't seen any impressions of the MLB 2k5 version yet.
I'm upset.
I pre-ordered two copies a few weeks ago at 49.95 a pop, now I find out they are available for pre-order at 29.95 a pop.
EA is getting a nasty gram from me in just a second...
Check your statement. There should be a refund for the difference.

I'm going to get the pc version in a few. Should be hot.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.
Just curious but does the game have Todd in it at the minor league level?
