    Tumbleweeds of Bacon

    Has anyone else seen that BK commercial with the guy from Hootie in it?

    What guy from Hootie? Oh... that dude w/ the guitar? He didn't bother me. I saw a bunch of pretty young ladies... no problem with me. Of course... I like to "have it my way". And lots of pretty young ladies is the way I like to have it.

    Darius probably got paid more for that commercial than he has made as Hootie frontman since their 1-hit wonder days ended years ago. I would assume that they are not playing large venues anymore. I did hear that they were playing a show at Augusta National in conjunction w/ this year's Masters Tourney.

    A clever ad IMO. Different and perhaps cheesy, but it does get your attention. And getting the attention of the consumer is never a bad thing.

    I've always been a big fan of Hootie and the Blowfish..

    Bwwahahhahaha. Sorry, just can't say that with a straight face.

    Any commercial with scantily clad women is fine with me.

    Yeah, but Hootie and the Blowfish was never about making money. It was always about *the music.* They were artists, man.
