    Let's see...songs

No specific order, this list good for today only:

Stella by Starlight, Young & Washington (OK, more of an instrumental they added words to but you get the idea)

Any number of Stevie Wonder songs but today, how about "Creepin'"

    The Rain Song, Led Zeppelin

Blackbird, The Beatles (almost the most perfect display of songwriting, even the bird sounds come off sounding "not naff")

Lively Up Yourself, Bob Marley (well not much of a song but it's my favorite Marley tune)

    Anywhere You Go, Shawn Colvin
    "Bring on Rod Stupid!"

let's see how things have changed...

    "Believe" by Savatage
    "Tapporauta" by Korpiklaani
    "Something" by The Beatles
"I Will Possess Your Heart" by Death Cab for Cutie
"Dark Eternal Night" by Dream Theater

and that could very well change within the hour.

3 of those are damn fine songs. Damn fine.

Never heard one of them, and you know my feelings on the Beatles.

Great songs brother! Def Lep is one of my favorite bands and the first concert I ever attended. I still remember the sad day when the great guitarist Steve Clark passed, the band was never that good after he died cause of that wussy Viv Campbell, I can't stand him.

YouTube it -- Carbon Leaf is a fun band. Their new album was pretty disappointing, but their older songs are pretty damn good.

Not sure where they fall at the moment, but Eluveitie has two of them right now:

    "Omnos"

yes, that's a bagpipe, flute, and hurdy gurdy combined to melodic thrash/death metal.
