Ahh, we finally have some closure from the famed "Chimps dine on man's testicles" story from a month ago....

CA Chimps Chew Man's Body, Face Off
    Apr 20, 2005, 7:14 AM
    New Media Producer: Kerry Corum

The operator of a California wildlife sanctuary near Bakersfield, won't face criminal charges in connection with an attack by two chimpanzees. The animals critically injured a man last month.

Authorities say the operator, Virginia Brauer, was not to blame because the animals apparently escaped on their own. Kern County officials say one of the chimps apparently figured out how to reach through a tight space between a chain link fence and a wall, pull out a steel pin and slide a door open.

The animals chewed off part of a man's face, and mauled other parts of his body, before Brauer's son-in-law shot the animals to death.

Chimps and humans share 99.7% of our DNA. In that hairsbreadth, language resides. Voila. On a related note--of the primates, humans have the largest penises, but the second largest testicles. Chimps the largest. Jealous, maybe? Fun facts.

Just thought you would sleep better knowing that the chimps acted alone. This was NOT an inside job!

Wow, that's a relief. I'm still not going to a zoo anytime soon, though.

I blame all those "trunk monkey" commercials. These apes are just acting out the violence they saw on TV...
