    Guess who's going to Hawaii next week?

    Yup, The Big Week is quickly approaching, and before you know it, I'll be sunnin' myself on the beautiful island of Kuai'i with my sweetie.

    I mentioned this a few months ago, and I decided to go in March, so as not to miss the start of Baseball Season.

    I hear tell it's gonna mighteeee cold here in Ohio next week, so while you're shivering, I'll be shiverin' me timbers with a big 'ol rummy drink in one hand and a tall redhead in the other.

    I'm tryin' to convince my dad to let me take his laptop so I can keep up with the 'zone.......In other words, so I can rub it in a little more.

    I am sooooooo jealous! I've been to Kuai once (the last time I visited the Islands in 2001). I've also been to Oahu and the Big Island... my favorite by far is Maui. I can just smell the perfumed air as I type this.

    I always go toward the end of March... cold at home, decent by the time we get back... plus, the whales are headed back home so we always get to see a bunch of them. They are great to watch.

    I've been, if you get a chance go to the unmolested side of the island, get a gander at the giant rock that looks like an ape, it wa sin the original King Kong.

    After the chimp incident yesterday I suggest you pay tribute.

    SB 25 after a long winter of no sun.... lots's of it, or maybe Pedro can tell you about the burn he got when we were there a few years ago.

    Great boogie boarding too... if you don't boogie board then just get drunk, but I like to boogie board first.

    I spent 10 days on Kuaui in December. Its my favorite Hawaiian island as its the most tropical and beautiful. We stayed at Poipu Beach. Visit the Hyatt and the Princeville Resort. Go to the Beach House for dinner. Take a cruise out to the Napali coast. You must see Waimea Canyon. We also did a helicopter tour which was pretty amazing but also pretty pricey.
