Just saw the end of the game, last second shot falls short. Congrats to the Buckeyes.
Thad Matta is sweet. Good time for Sylvester to have the game of his life.
Great win by the Buckeyes. Too bad this team can't go to the tournament this year. Hopefully they can end their year by winning the Big Ten tournament this week.
Just got back from the game, it was unbelievable!
Illinois will probably be better off with a loss now, no more pressure to stay undefeated
I think Cbus is virtually speechless.
Yes I am
The Buckeyes have lost several games to tough opponents by a whisker. Nice to see that they finally came up with a win in one. Since they're not going to the dance, this is their March Madness.

Actually, I was literally speechless, I think I blew an o-ring in my throat between yelling profanities at fuss-cheatham and Stockman for throwing up ridiculous shots late in the game, and from screaming with joy at the end of the game!Originally Posted by ochre
OSU has won 5 of their past 6 games against #1 ranked teams!
And people wonder why I never cared for O'Brien.
This OSU team has really impressed me this season. But then, I followed Matta when he was Xaxier's coach, and thought it was excellent that OSU was able to get him.

That was Florida's senior night, by the way, not Kentucky's. Kentucky has lost only something like four Senior Night games in the past 250 years.Originally Posted by WVRed
As a UK fan, I was hoping they'd lose in the SEC Tournament, since the NCAA tournament selection committee ignores those games when seeding the teams. I think today's loss knocks them from a #1 seed to a #2. I still hope they lose in the SEC tourney, though. Seldom does a team with both their conference tournament and the NCAA tournament, too.
Oh, and Illinois needed that loss. That may be the loss that propels them to the title.
Help stamp out, eliminate, and do away with redundancy.
I know, I meant Floridas senior night.Originally Posted by macro
If they win the SEC tournament, which wont be easy given how Florida and South Carolina has played them this season, I think they will still be a no 1 seed. If UNC lost, that would have helped somewhat.
Joe Lunardi still has UK as a no 1 seed in the Albuquerque region.
