World's most unique Tennis match ever played

Check out the photos from the Dubai Tennis Open, where Agassi and Federer played an exhibition match on the heli pad of the Burj Al Arab hotel

According to specs, the Heli pad is suspended at 211 meters above the ocean.

Wild stuff, don't want to run too far to get those deep balls...

Makes my knees buckle just to look at those pictures.
How, then, are those people of the future—who are taking steroids every day—going to look back on baseball players who used steroids? They're going to look back on them as pioneers. They're going to look back at it and say "So what?" - Bill James, Cooperstown and the 'Roids

    My strategy:

    Serve and volley.

    Every freaking point.

Jeez, even on serve receive, I'd have been in at the net trying to volley.

That's because, in this match, that's the safetynet!

Did you actually buy the cards? No wonder you're queasy. Spreadsheets rule.

These pics were in Golf Digest last year. I would like to hit some balls of that pad!
Tiger said that when he hit the ball it would barely make it off the island that hte Hotel is on. Wander how far the water is from up there.

"The sea was angry that day, my friends, like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli... So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys, I was terrified. But I pressed on, and as I made my way past the breakers a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine intervention or the kinship of all living things, but I tell you Jerry, at that moment I was a marine biologist."

If anyone else is interested, here's an above shot of the hotel, which was literally built on a man made island just off the coast of UAE, and made to look like a sail.
