    Just got an internet offer for a free two week subscription to the Wall Street Journal on line. Might just take them up on it. And, since I like the print edition of the WSJ, if I like the content on line, I'll probably spring for the $59.00.

    A lot of the companies I follow on the internet reference articles on the WSJ on line and it's frustrating to click on the link only to get a subscription ad. So, I've been thinking of giving them a shot and the trial subscription would be a good test (I think). We'll see.

    The newspaper business.. that's a tough industry to be in.

    Consider that ebay is probably killing them in the classified advertising.. It seems like there's almost nothing in the classifieds sold by individuals anymore. (Just car dealships and other businesses).
