    Little Caesar's isn't a good example to use of pizza in Mich. Much better choices would be Pizza Papalis or Jets. If you're on a campus setting, Domino's of course.

    Right now I think Mich's best "food" offering is its beer. Especially the area a little south of you such as Grand Rapids and the entire SW portion of the state

    The entire west side of the state is littered with top notch breweries.

    Pizza Papalis does Chicago stuffed pizza as well as any place I've had in Chicagoland. Jet's is the commodified (Skyline, if you will) version of Detroit pizza.

    Buddy's is the most popular local franchise of Detroit style...

    I had to look it up myself, but it is also on the west side of the state--conveniently located off of I-94 between Kalamazoo and Chicago...
