    I'm FORTY today.



    So, this is what it's like to be about half way through, eh?
    Not enough money, not nearly as smart as I thought I was when I was twenty, and not nearly as settled as one thinks they will be at this age.

    Oh well, maybe I'll feel like an adult when I turn fifty.

    My baby sister is turning forty this year ... and she says she can't wait. All of her friends have passed forty, and she says things get a little simpler after 40, from what she can see. Of course, she has 18 month old twins to keep her young.
