Well, if you can't control your 12 year old child, your problems are too comprehensive for a dispatcher to assist you with.
"It's easier to give up. I'm not a very vocal player. I lead by example. I take the attitude that I've got to go out and do it. Because of who I am, I've got to give everything I've got to come back."
-Ken Griffey Jr.
That is one of the hardest jobs out there. Dispatchers put up with more crap from morons.
In the old days you could erase the tapes...now most advanced dispatch areas have the tapes locked up in a supervisors office.
Well it probably wasn't wise for him to say that, but it was pretty funny. And that lady is probably as "rowdy" and "out of control" as her two children.
Not even on tape anymore. Most of the newer recorders are kept on computer harddrives protected by passwords.
granted the dispatcher should have used better judgement, but come on...does a grown woman really need to call 911 to control her 12 year old...a grown adult who can't keep a 12 year old in line, should have that 12 year old taken away from her...that's a disaster waiting to happen in a few years...
