And Casey's in the 3 slot. I'll go out on a big fat limb and say Casey doesn't pull a single pitch all night from Wood.

No surprises here. Pena deserves the start over Kearns.

With WMP hot, Dunn, hitting in front of him tonight, should get some pitches to hit. Time for a big night, Dunn.

Wow, think maybe someone could give you Miley's private number? Maybe he's just unaware of this glaring statistic.

ESPNews is reporting that Nomar has "flu like" symptoms and is inactive tonight. He didn't dress.

they also just stated that tonight's ESPN broadcast will be done by color man Rick Sutcliffe. No Cubs slant there mind you.

Seems like Lopez is in Miley's doghouse.

What in the flip did he do to merit that? Very questionable managerial decision IMO. Aurilia hits a flare and he gets to start the next 5 games???

Dunn already gets plenty of good pitches. He just doesnt swing at them. (insert chuckle here)

Lefties also hit Wood better than righties, but why let that influence you.

How wild is it that Neifi Perez walks into this game with a 1.000 OPS?

And hopefully the Reds get to see Cliff Bartosh (as Dog). Mainly so I can make Cliff Bartosh (as Dog) jokes.

I'm glad the Cubs are batting Patterson third.

Nothing like an easy out in that slot to help a young pitcher.
