    Ok..WOY are you around?

Does Adam ever swing at 3-0 pitches? I can't remember the last time I saw him swing at one

I know it's not smart to ever swing 3-0..but I was just wondering

    Top of the 1st

Jimenez singles off the shortstop's glove
Griffey flies out to the center field wall
    * wild pitch advances Jimenez to second
Casey grounds out to Ramirez at third
Randa beats out an infield single to shortstop - scores Jimenez from second
Dunn walks - Randa moves to second
    Kearns grounds out to shortstop

    1 run, 2 hits, 2 left. 1-0 good guys.

Looks like Carlos Zambrano could be very tough tonight once he gets into the flow of the game. He looks like he's got some good late movement and good velocity in the mid 90's.

He swung at 3-0 pitch on opening Day....

    And homered.

It all depends on the pitch.

It's never smart to always do the same thing every time.

You need to swing at the 3-0 pitch occasionally to keep the pitcher honest.

You need to swing at 3 - 0 and the first pitch of your at bat every now and then just to keep the pitchers honest. If they know you never do it, it's a big advantage to them.
