Boy, talk about your Sunday special lineup. No Patterson, no Ramirez, no Barrett.

Ok, looks like this one stays, so let's see a solid 6-7 from Harang and beat up Dempster for being just one of the many crappy pitchers we've had to endure over the last several years.

Dusty didn't want to see Ramirez get plunked.

I'm glad that with Junior swinging a hot bat right now, they left him in there in a day game after a night game.

I'm sure the day off tomorrow has something to do with it.

No Ramirez at 3B for the Cubbies. Hmmm...

Foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.

Speaking of Patterson, it seems to me the Reds could do away with one of their "Reds-killers" by not throwing him belt-high fastballs. They ALWAYS throw that bum first-pitch fastballs. And he's ripping, every time.

Ok, so according to my theory that Dempter is going to walk some people today, Kearns, Lopez and LaRue should all see a decent amount of at-bats with runners on. Let's hope they are able to take advantage of the situation. I'm also hoping Randa can add a hit or two in this game. That would be significant as well, considering HE'S STILL IN THE CLEANUP SPOT!

I'm hoping the game isn't blacked out on WGN here in Cincinnati.

It will be on because Fox Sports Ohio doesn't have rights to this game.

    No worries.

Meanwhile, the Cardinals are putting a first inning beatdown on the Brewers--they could be uncatchable by the end of May.
