    I agree Aronchis, although Jimenez has seemed to fare better lower in the order throughout his career. I don't know if it's pure coincidence or a different approach by him, but it's been fairly consistent.

    That's why I really like Freel leading off.(Not to mention what Freel brings to the table)

    I think Ryan Freel makes things happen better at the top of the lineup.

    Jimenez is a good contact hitter, and he'd benefit from moving down in the lineup to like 6th or 7th where he might see better pitches w/ men aboard in front of him.

    I like Jimenez hitting in those RBI-type situations that Rich Aurillia has been coming up in.

    Rolen seems to have trouble with that back of his every year. That would scare me if I happened to be a STL fan.

    Carpenter was a big steal for the Cards. They got him for next to nothing.
