Is Ortiz really throwing 96 MPH fastballs like it says on CBS?
Most I've seen them show is 92 on FSN, but it's still nice to see a Reds starter in the 90's.

Ortiz is peeking at 91-92mph. Not a good sign since he needs to be around 93-94.

1-2-3 for the Reds. Good inning Ortiz. Reds nothing and the Dodgers likewise as the Reds head to the bat rack for their second crack at Derek Lowe.

Which feed are you getting? I'm watching FSN West 2 and it's showing him at 95 consistently.

So, we're getting conflicting reports. Some posters and CBS say Ortiz is hitting around 95, while others are saying he's hitting 91/92. Does anyone know the reality of the situation?

It seems Lowe looks crazy good right now.

We are not being patient at ALL with him. He has 21 pitches through 2 IP.

Ortiz' ERA is below Wilson's now(7.00). Wilson's is 7.25. Congrats. to Ramon!
