Four Movies Im Going to See This Summer

1.Batman Begins-Cant turn down a Batman movie, and it looks like they are going back to the beginning. Christian Bale should be a hit.

2.Fantastic Four-Previews looked amazing, and the Marvel comic movies have been outstanding.

3.Devils Rejects(House of 1000 Corpses 2)-The first movie really didnt have a plot, just blood and guts. This one looks like its going to be good, and Lions Gate rarely disappoints, see the Punisher.

4.Dukes of Hazzard-Has anyone seen Jessica Simpson in that bikini yet?

    Any others?

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - I have a hunch this is going to put the other two "prequel" movies to shame.

That's the summer for me...everything else is completely secondary to Star Wars, as far as I'm concerned.

Whatever my kids want to see. I'd guess Star Wars, Fantastic Four and Batman Begins are probabilities.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith (Doug Liman has made 3 great movies already in Swingers, Go, and The Bourne Identity)

Batman Begins (I'm a sucker for Batman stuff. Dates back to childhood)

    Star Wars (see above)

Wedding Crashers is a possibilty. The trailer is darn funny.

It isn't a summer flick, but Kingdom of Heaven looks great.

The two movies I'm really looking forward to are:

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith
Kicking and Screaming (Will Ferrell)...looks absolutely, right up my alley, hilarious.

I resent the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory -- the original was so cool.

I saw Hitchhiker's Guide and will definitely see Star Wars. Other than that....

I'd kinda hoped the men-in-tights genre had run its course.

    Lords of Dogtown
I thought "Dogtown's Z-Boys" was extremely cool, and I detest skate culture. That loathing is probably what will keep me from seeing "Lords of Dogtown." The trailer makes the movie look like a skater version of "You Got Served."

I liked the docmentary and this movie was written by one of the skaters (I am too old for skate culture myself) but I love the time frame of mid 70's california, since I lived there for a bit then and then moved back in the early 80's.

Therefore I'll go... but I haven't seen any previews to sour me yet.
