I'd add "Police Squad," the short lived TV series from which "The Naked Gun" movies were later derived.
Actually there are quite a few TV series that I hated to see get cancelled that not that many people cared for. I remember "Rosetti & Ryan," a lawyer series that was cancelled after only a few episodes in the late 1970s-it starred Eric Roberts and Squire Ferdale (or something like that).
There have also been shows that lasted a full season or even 2 or 3 seasons that I still thought ended too soon. As a kid I loved "Laredo" in the mid 1960s. In the late 1970s I liked "The Persuaders" starring Roger Moore and Tony Curtis and"How The West Was Won" starring James Arness and Bruce Boxleitner. In the 1980s I liked "Spenser" with Robert Ulrich and Avery Brooks.
"Hey...Dad. Wanna Have A Catch?" Kevin Costner in "Field Of Dreams."
Cop Rocks.
Wait, maybe that belongs on the other thread.
How about sitcoms that went on too long?

The original Star Trek series was cancelled after only three seasons. Hard to believe today.Originally Posted by RedsBaron

1. Futurama
2. The Job (possibly the funniest show in the last 10 years)
3. Clerks: The Animated Series
4. Police Squad
5. Star Trek: Enterprise (I stopped watching for a few years and picked it back up this year, and it's been unbelievable in quality)
Cincinnati Reds: Farm System Champions 2022
Yeah, I thought of posting it as a series that ended too soon, but perhaps its premature cancellation actually helped keep it alive in the hearts of its fans. For a TV show that was never a big hit in its orginal run, it is amazing that it produced four spin off TV series (thus far) and ten feature films.Originally Posted by savafan

I haven't watched Enterprise much since the first season. It airs its final first run episode tonight (at least in my area).Originally Posted by Caveat Emperor
