In my opinion Shaun of the Dead is the absolute best zombie film made in the last 10-15 years (until Land of the Dead comes out of course ). At first before I saw it I wasn't sold because of the whole comedy angle but once I checked it out I thought it was outstanding.

I liked 28 Days Later a lot as well but was much more into the first 25 to 30 minutes than the rest of the film. Had it been my screenplay I probably would have gone a different direction. The first half hour is excellent though, doesn't get any better.

Shaun of the Dead.....i was a part of the zombie army, anyone else? (zombie army was on the website and i got enough "pints" to get a shovel keychain....and i use it. lol

I figured I would bring this thread back up since of the new movies in this series. Diary Of The Dead is coming out this year, and it looks pretty cool. Using a handheld camera like Cloverfield. What do you guys think? I know there are a few "Dead Series" fans on here as well as me.
