Kudos to 17 year old Moeller Student

The radio said this kid is part of a "buddy" program to keep an eye on the younger kids.

A Moeller High School student is being credited with stopping the attempted abduction of a four year-old girl in Corryville Monday. Sister Marie Smith at Corryville Catholic School says the student, Andy Theis, was walking two young children down the street when they were confronted by a man who tried to abduct one of the children. Sister Marie says Theis used his body to fend off the attack.

The suspect fled the scene, but Theis was able to give police a good description of the man, who was later picked up by police. Police arrested Darryl Wynn, 40, of downtown Cincinnati. Police told Sister Marie the man suffers from mental issues. No one was hurt.
