    Here's what I don't understand:

Dave Miley thinks that a complete stiff like Rich Aurilia is a better player than Felipe Lopez.

Yet tonight, Lopez is good enough to hit third ahead of Adam Dunn!

Sometimes I think Miley is just going through the motions. He has no idea what he's doing half the time, does he?

Redman leads off the 3rd with a double off the wall in RCF.

Bay doubles in Redman, 3-1 Pirates. Still 0 outs.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

I believe this has turned into what they call a beatdown. Ramirez is getting ripped out there.

Ok. I'd just like to ignore what's going on in the game right now because it appears that it's about to get brutal.

    BUT...

I'm convinced that Ryan Freel has a mental "glitch" that will not allow him to release a baseball without it having to touch his glove at least once while it's in his possession.

After RW walks on 4 pitches, Castillo steps in and swings at the first pitch which was low. Double play on next pitch.

    Jack Wilson doubles.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

The Bergolla man-love from the announcers is getting to the point of ridiculous.

OBM, we were discussing Dunn hitting in the 5th spot on a game thread the other day and it lead to how many times Dunn leads off an inning. Well, I stumbled on those splits today and this is how it shakes out. Just thought you might be curious. Only Freel has led off more innings than Dunn or Griffey.

    Code:
    Name # of times leading
off an inning (Total Plate Appearances)
    Freel 58
    Dunn 47
    Griffey 47
    D'Lo 41
