Self flies out to shallow center.

Grande : "Guess who's at 2nd base?" Unintentional funny.

Playing Houston doesn't feel the same with Bagwell out of the line-up. I noticed that he's been DLed for a while now with a right shoulder sprain, and having seen him play up-close in April, you could tell it was causing him some serious pain. Anyone read about his future with the club? Could his career be over?

Belisle with an impressive called 3rd strike. Biggio was halfway down the line thinking he had a walk.

    Scoreless after 1.

He's out for at least 3 months after shoulder surgery, and before that was reporting that "the pain is always there". He'll probably miss the entire season, with possibly a few concilatory ABs in September if he happens to rehab that quickly.
I'd bet on him sitting out the year and then trying a final season in '06. With that much rehab, it could be beneficial to him and allow him another year or so.

Dunn walks. Grande is full of important information tonight, says Dunn leads league with 42 walks.

I thought it was due to his severe arthritis. They were talking about him during the game last night and were wondering if this would be his last year.

Dunn walks, that's a shocker. Can't see how that happened, I mean, it's not like he doesn't have protection with this lineup.

Welsh believes that the Immortal One will do the "utility guy" thing and fill in where needed, pinch hitting included. We can only be so lucky.

Said Immortal flies out to left. 2 outs.

Randa seemed to do fine behind Dunn last night. I can handle complaining about Aurilla, but Randa has done his job so far this year.

Dunn touching his butt repeatedly at 1st. Creek must be happy for that one.

LaRue sends a shot down the 3rd base line that Ensberg makes a great play on, but can't get the throw there in time. Infield single, 1st and 2nd and 2 outs.
