I have the distinct sensation that whoever brings Jennings down from the mountain to pitch at sea level is going to be pleasantly, pleasantly surprised.

Probably the Cards. And he'll win 20.

And, as if FCB called for it...

BANG! HR- Casey. Reds lead 3-2

Does anybody have an explanation as to why none of the players seem to be wearing that eye-shade stuff on their cheeks? Just wondered. It appears to be very bright at the game and many of the plyers appear to be squinting.

RBI single by Rich Aurilia gives Reds two run lead. Let's give him some credit for good play this series.

If Lopez breaks on that play, he probably scores. No excuse, in that situation, a runner can't sit on third as a DP is turned. You have to force the issue.

Miley has to pull Claussen the first sign he is tuckering out, though I figure he will wait much to long again.

I'm convinced that John Allen loves to listen to the sound of this team's death rattle. That's why he prolongs these "announcements."

The mere turk-like presence of Allen hovering above them in the booth will spur them to victory today. Just watch.
