Loo will be a draft and follow again. If that is the case, it is a wasted pick because we could have signed him last week. If they do sign him now how dumb is that, I mean WE COULD HAVE SIGNED HIM LAST WEEK!!!!!!!

    He wasn't going to sign.
I hope it's never sunny in Philly again.

I know that he didn't sign but he said if the Reds would have offered him more money , who knows. You just can't like that move.

    11th Round

The Reds pick "Charles" Fisher, RHP, Lewis and Clark State College, ID

Turns out the guys name is Carlos Fisher.

    Stats
    2005
    3.36 ERA (that's the 11th best ERA on the staff, interestingly enough), 4-2, 1 CG, 51.2 IP, 54 H, 60 K, 16 BB, 11 2B and 5 HR allowed, .261 OBA

    2004
    2.55 ERA, 8-1, 2 CG, 74 IP, 58 H, 63 K, 34 BB, 10 2B and 1 HR allowed, .219 OBA

According to the season prospectus, he was slated to be the top starter heading into this year. Looks like the stress got to him.

The school looks to be sort of a power in NAIA...lots of national titles, Keith Foulke pitched there.

    OPS is all that matters.

Batting average is the bane of my existence.

Found this about Fisher's school on BA:

Tuesday, 5:13 PM: Giants Again Tap Into Lewis-Clark Pipeline
    by Will Kimmey

The Giants tapped their Lewis-Clark State pipeline again with center fielder Joey Dyche in the seventh round. He hit .500/.544/.767 with 11 homers and 56 RBIs. They have signed Keith Foulke, Marvin Benard, Steve Reed, Jason Ellison and Steve Decker from the Idaho NAIA school in past years.

apparently they produce a few players...

If they meet or exceed what I'm looking for, I just might sign," said Loo, who did not reveal what amount would sway his decision to sign.

There's a Lewis and Clark University in SW Portland, but I believe LCSC is located in Lewiston, Idaho.
