LeCure should have went to Ohio State... we would have put him in Golf 101 or something.

Though LD tends to be a catch-all for all kinds of stuff, so I recommend not taking that as an absolute.
I don't perceive that anyone is looking solely at the AADD as an absolute. That being said, there are enough issues (size, velocity, time off, etc.) that I see it as being another issue on the pile. It complicates the situation because I see it as a potential risk piled on top of other risks.

Frankly, I don't doubt the kid's desire to play ball being that he came back well from being hit in the face. Nor do I doubt that the LD wasn't partly behind his academic standing. That being said, I know folks who took time to address and overcome that specific LD (and many others) in school without finishing under a 2.00.

In short, the kid may just be a basebal rat. That's cool. But he had an obligation to his team to stay eligible. And he didn't. How I feel about that is secondary to how I feel about his ability, but it does weigh.

    Tigers take Jeff Larish.

Was a top 10 projected pick at the begining of last year, until he got "Draftitis" and started trying to rip everything out of the park.

    Could be a steal

Hey guys, just taking a break from work and catching up - I haven't seen Tim Linecum from University of Washington... did I overlook him or did I miss something, like an injury or something else that would have sent his stock plummeting? I got a hard sheet copy of the first four rounds at work, and didn't see his name when going over the list.
