I did find it interest that Callis is porjecting Luke Hochevar to drop to the Cubs at 20 and Hansen to the Sox at 26. The rich getting richer I suppose.

It's all because of signability, but if he did start to drop, I'd love to see the Reds FO sack up and pick him.

The Tommy John disease has now struck position players. Tatum and now Janish are done for the year.

If this F.O. wants to show me something, they'll pick a player like Hochevar, who has fallen too far.

    without a doubt.
Who knows maybe Boras actually learned something from last year, but I doubt it.

Oddly both probably ought to be pitching.

I despise Boras, as I imagine most here do, but if this kid is all he's projected to be, then he could be in Cincinnati in quick fashion, and face it, we/they need pitchers right now.

Callis can't hide his Cubs bias. He'll rate their draft very highly -- guaranteed.

Wouldn't you? They get their draft right, like, every year plus infinity.

Me too, even though we'll probably be disappointed, as far as excitement/anticipation goes, this is going to be the high point of the season.
