Outside of Bruce and Ward, quite a atrocious act from Terry. Wonder if DanO still has "complete" faith in him?

If this turns out to be the truth, fans should not sleep until the entire FO is unemployed. It may be a coincidence, but it sure looks incriminating.Originally Posted by Red Leader
Maiques, Havens, Smoak, Nick Weglarz still on the board. I would atleast take a chance on Havens or Smoak.
I really liked last years Draft but this years Draft has me a little confused.Originally Posted by Aronchis

I can't find anything on Michael Jones
It would not suprise me at all if this is what happened. I believe each player had a number assigned to them and when the teams turned in the picks they had to look up the number and turn that in along with the name. It would pretty sad if they looked up the wrong number and messed up a draft pick.Originally Posted by Red Leader

I can, however, find "Bobby (Robert) Andrews" on that team.
He and Roberts appear to be nearly identical players.

Reds 9th RD pick.
Milton Loo, 3b/ss. They offered Loo 200,000 to sign as a D&F, and he turned it down.
Reds redrafted Milton Loo
I know for a fact that some teams in recent years have done this. I remember reading about it after last year's draft, or the year before's. Some team took a player named like Michael A. Smith and they wanted Michael S. Smith.Originally Posted by Reds Fanatic

It's a good thing the Reds didn't draft "Bruce Jay" by mistake

He's most likely the name of someone's dog that O'Brien threw into the mix as a joke.Originally Posted by jmcclain19
Dan and Terry. Such pranksters!
Unfortunately, I don't appreciate the prank they call the 2005 MLB entry draft.
