Dave Miley consulting the Strat Cards has decided to go as LH as he can.

Did Aurilia's squeaky wheel get some grease? I'd say LuLo is a better choice for 2b, since Miley was apparently stacking the BO with LH hitters.

Pena and Freel said their legs were in some discomfort after last night so he's giving them a rest.

Good reason I guess, but if Pena is sitting, Kearns shouldn't be

So now Jose Cruz is a better player than Kearns AND Wily Mo?

    What the heck is this?

Dunn or Griffey would be on the bench for a week if they whined like RA does. But oh Rich gets rewarded with a start for whining!

    No he's LH

    Casbrea vs. RH's 0.88 WHIP and a .177 BA

In short he owns them, perfect time to get the LH in the lineup, if Cabrea blows then the starter can join the fun or get a rest... BTW it has been about 10,000 degrees in Cincinnati. Rest is a good thing too. Especially for LaRue.

It's hard to win when you keep handicapping yourself with these lineups.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

Well with all the RH hitters sitting, at least the Reds will have some to call on if they have to face BJ Ryan again tonight.

With this lineup..I doubt they will have to worry about facing Ryan tonight, unless of course Claussen holds them under 3 runs.

Claussen may think he needs to pitch the perfect game tonight.

Based on radar trends, Claussen's goal tonight should be to pitch quickly but effectively through 5 innings, and hope the team has a lead for him at that point.
