Not Pinehurst 2, I live on another course here.

Still pretty cool. I can't even image what the houses would cost off of Pinehurt No. 2. Start at $1.5M, at least, I'm sure.

Yeah, we've got over 60 world class courses in the Pinehurst area. It's golf heaven.

Just think how much they'd be if they were off Pinehurst No. 1. Stands to reason No. 1 is better than No. 2.

Olin Browne is in the clubhouse at -2.

Tiger was up to +2, but he birdied and now sits at +1 through 16.

David Toms and Retief Goosen are both -3 through 16 and 15 respectively.

Ernie Els and Davis Love III are both done with second round, both +7 overall .

    Tiger posted a 71, he's +1 for the tournament.

The two leaders are Olin Browne (in the clubhouse) and Retief Goosen (through 16) at -2.

    Five players in red figures.

I'm thinking -2 or -3 wins this tournament.

    Ok, who had Campbell?

I doubt even his mother predicted this.

Gossen's collapse was historic, right up there with Norman at the Masters a few years ago.

I haven't played and watched so much golf in a long time as I did last week.

    Re: US Open predictions

    Great, great tournament.

Pinehurst No. 2 remains one of my favorite locations for an Open.

I love courses where pros struggle to get to Even par.

That course was a monster yesterday.

    Congratulations to Michael Campbell.

I can't remember an Open that so many leaders put up +3 scores or higher in the final round.

Good tournament. Nice to see the big boys struggle for a change rather than seeing a -21. After a horrible first round, Davis Love III ties for 6th place. Surprising that not a single person finishes under par.
