Hmmm, don't like Felo batting that low. Other than that it's okay...I guess.
Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

Is this on TNT or TBS?

No...I just checked the TNT website and the Sunday game is the only televised game of this series.

I would like it better if Randa and Lopez flip-flopped in the order, and maybe Peña and Dunn also, but I suppose it could be worse.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Pena's gonna take Smoltz yard tonight. Dunn too.

I like that type of thinking. Lets hope it comes true.

I hope your right but I think it's much more likely Pena K's 4 times.

    Dunn OTOH......

    Tx.

No better time to catch the Braves.

Milton won't pitch in the series.

Wasn't Franco there when Doubleday invented the game?

Smoltz's fastball isn't what it used to be, but he still relies on it. Pena's one of the best fastball hitters in the game; so is Dunn.

true, but Pena sucks against RH pitchers and Smoltz has a nasty slider. I doubt he even throws a strike against Pena. Why should he?

Re: Gamethread 6/16 Reds Vs. Braves

Anyone else concerned about Claussen? I hope he has a good game. Here is something interesting.

    Code:
    IP	ERA	K/9	K/BB	FIP	Xr	Xr/9
    48	3.94	5.81	1.72	4.93	28.39	5.32
This is an estimate of Xr, but I've found that it closely follows era in most pitchers. Hopefully he keeps up whatever he's doing to get out of jams.
