Everytime Rich Aurilia bats second, my baseball soul dies a little bit.

Walker scratched. Sanders moves up to 4th, Mabry comes in for Walker and bats 5th, and will play RF

Nice. Marty just said on the Cardinal's pregame show that the offense is a major part of the problem with this team.

I generally agree, but that 1169 OPS in June indicates that we could ride his hot streak for a bit. Now, Miley would put him there (and has) when he was ice cold, but, for now, Miley gets a pass.

    Dear Mr. Dave Miley,

Every time you bat Aurilia in the 2-slot in the lineup, God kills a kitten.

Please think of the kittens next time.

8 Kittens like this one have perished for the sins of Dave Miley. How many are next?

I tend to agree with you there. Normally Aurillia at second is horrendous, but lately he has crushed the ball including a really good game yesterday where he had 5 good at-bats.

Why hasn't Freel been playing lately?

    Is he hurt?

Eckstein lines a hit off Lopez's glove to lead off.
