Marc's blog says "Just for fun, here's tonight's lineup."

What does just for fun mean? Is it really the lineup or not?

Maybe Freel has lost his starting job and we just haven't been told about it.

Afterall this is the organization that told us that Pauly was in extended spring training "working on his mechanics."

I take it you're kidding. It takes 90 seconds to make out a lineup.

Let's hope he's given plenty of thought to changes well before today.

I think it is, I think Marc was just a little shocked that the first 7 look exactly like last night.

    I doubt that's really it.

Maybe he was talking directly to the St. Louis pitchers?

I was thinking the same thing, Crash. I'm not sure we've seen the lineup for tonight just yet.

    Re: Narron's first lineup/Game thread

Marc has never posted a bogus lineup, and he states that this is tonight's, so I'll take him at his word.

I'm with Crash: A lineup takes a few minutes at most, and Narron has been on the job all day, and has had all year to ruminate on matters. His first lineup is a Milo, er, Miley, and I hate it.

And yes, it appears that Freel is still hurt.
    Makes all the routine posts.

Oh, I am thinking the worst.

I'm thinking that everything I didn't like about Miley's lineups was strongly influenced by Narron.

I'm scared to death that this team will pull a .500 record out of the hat for the rest of the season and that will be seen as a success and that will become the evidence DO needs to justify his "plan". That will ensure Narron's role will continue into next season.

I have decided since I can't change any of that, I'm going to give him a week

Narron doesn't want to be there, either. Figures this is the best way to a quick exit.

If it wasn't obviously giving the man too much credit, I'd be inclined to think he was ordering certain guys to be shined up for a trade. At least there would be SOME logic to that.
