Ortiz is at 86 pitches, Im not sure how long the will let him go but I think this next inning will be his last because he just pitches a few days ago.

I wouldn't mind seeing the following reds lineup for rest of year

    lopez SS
    encarnacion 3B
    dunn 1B
    griffey CF
    kearns RF
    pena LF
    larue C
    olmedo
School's out. What did you expect?

Thanks M2.....I agree with you that the Reds can probably do it.....but they still have to beat out 3 other teams.

The Reds have played a few more games at home than away haven't they? When they go on road more, they can REALLY tank.

I am not being sarcastic here.....I just think that if they can draft a college stud who can be their ace in two years.....and Harang and Claussen continue to develop....with Lopez and EdwinE and Dunn and Kearns and WMP, they could suddenly have a decent team.....that is if they dump Allen and DOB before they screw it up.

    Olmedo at 2nd?????

You would be lucky to squeak a 600 OPS from him right now.

pedro, why would hit EdE 2nd and Olmedo 8th? So what if Encarnacion's got a better bat, Rey can bunt.
