    Last time the REDS faced Kirk Rueter... was the last time these two teams met.

    * Aug 5, 2004 @ San Francisco.
    > REDS win, 12-3.
    > Rueter takes the loss, Harang (7IP,4H,1ER) gets the win.
    > Rueter has a good game until the REDS score 10 runs in the 8th inning.
    > Casey 4-5 (4RBI), Lopez 2-4, Dunn 2-5 (3RBI, HR).

    Alou doubles in a run and goes to 3rd on the throw home. 2-0 Giants.

    it is comforting to know we can replace bad pitchers in the majors with bad pitchers from the minors

    Guess the Reds don't love me enough to play well for me on my birthday... Oh well, it'd be a great present if they came back to win... Plenty of game left!!

    I think I'll listen in my car on my way up to Cleveland. Maybe it's bad luck for me to watch it here on TV. At this point, I'm willing to try ANYTHING!!!

    Well, we're getting the game after the ESPN2 guys finish the Washington game which is probably going into extras. FS-Ohio is blacked out.

    I'm listening to the Giants' PBP on XM. Just as well with a 4-0 score already.

    Ho-hum.

    I thought not having a drop off in production was a good thing?

    I'm late on this, but how many times have we repeated that this year. Move him down to 7th position, please. How big are the idiots that run this club?
