WOW. Lopez with ANOTHER tremendous play throwing out Ellison after fielding a high chopper. Lopez had ZERO time to get that throw to Casey and still beat Ellison by a step.

    Reds Win. Whew.

I know it is only one game, but could Belisle be the new closer?

Its good to start off a road series with a win... even though it wasnt an easy one.

Great job by Belsile & Lopez to get the last 2 outs.

That game left me exhausted. Glad to see a win though. Great job by Lopez, LaRue and Belisle.

I just realized how sad it is to be so amazed by a 95 MPH fastball from a pitcher on my favorite team.

    Sigh...

I really hope not for any number of reasons including we need far more innings from him than one once in awhile.

I was thinking the same thing, but Id like to see him get a few more starts before he stays in the bullpen.

I think the Reds need MB more in the middle innings (beacuse of these awful starters) I think until/if Weathers is traded....he should still close but maybe he has a future there. I still think he would be a starter if given the chance.

That's not saying a lot. But he has pitched well lately and, with a few exceptions, all year.

Ok. The Giants announcers are too whiney for words.

I was going to give you a few minutes to get over the shock before I mentioned it.
