    Your 'Celebrity Playlist?'

One of my favorite things about iTunes is that you can view celebrity playlists, and see what different artists people listen to. Like Kevin Bacon has a great acoustic version of 'Stuck in a Moment' on his, and apparently Nicole Kidman is a big Outkast fan.

So I was wondering today what songs I would put on if I made up a playlist myself. Just 15-20 songs that move me, or that I listen to when I'm having a difficult time. I'm wondering what songs other zoners would select as well.

    My list:
    1) Where the Streets Have No Name - U2
    2) Sullivan Street - Counting Crows
    3) Everlong - Foo Fighters
    4) Iris - Goo Goo Dolls
    5) The Waiting - Tom Petty
    6) Knockin' on Heaven's Door - GnR
    7) Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley
    8) Better Man - Pearl Jam
    9) In Your Eyes - Peter Gabriel
    10) Follow My Way - Chris Cornell
    11) Getaway Car - Audioslave
    12) Hunger Strike - Temple of the Dog
    13) Fix You - Coldplay
    14) Wonderwall - Ryan Adams
    15) Closer to You - The Wallflowers
    16) Let it Be - The Beatles
    17) Crash into Me - DMB
    18) Superman - Five for Fighting

I'm leaving off a million tunes, but here are a few that I never change the station if they are playing:

Chop Suey- System of a Down or ANY System of a Down
    Jolene- Dolly Parton
    Black Balloon- Goo Goo Dolls
    We Belong- Pat Benatar
    Everlong- Foos
    Beautiful Day- U2
I Can Still Make Cheyenne- George Strait
    Sleepwalker (acoustic)- The Wallflowers

Dom, I absolutely love Dolly's "Jolene" and Pat's "We Belong." Pat Benatar and Martina McBride did a great duet on "We Belong" on a CMT "Crossroads" special. I also like Strait, but "Amarillo By Morning" is my favorite Strait song.
"Hey...Dad. Wanna Have A Catch?" Kevin Costner in "Field Of Dreams."

"Amarillo By Morning" is my favorite Strait song.
Came a hair of putting it on the list. Something about "Cheyanne" I just like, though.
"We Belong" is one of those tunes that never grows old for me. If you ever get to hear it on a really good stereo and listen to it between the speakers...you can hear the guitar strums and the drums crystal clear- it is an amazing tune.

And now I have to add:

Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters- Elton John
    Harmony-Elton John
Rocket Man- Elton John - same as "We Belong" - hear it close up on a great stereo and you'll hear things you never knew were there on the remastered version.

OK. Being the old fart that I am, someone explain this "ITunes" to me. It came on my computer when I bought it. Is it a service/website that one subscribes to to legally download music?

What is the selections? Is there a wide range? I love older rock n roll.
