Will someone please wake me up when this nightmare is over?

I wish they would stick with 1 lineup, and I dont want this one to be it.

Re: July 8th - Reds vs. Diamondbacks

This is all I ask if Narron wants to drop Dunn against the lefties:

    Lopez
    Randa
    Casey
    Griffey
    Pena
    Dunn
    Aurilia
    LaRue

Thats it - I still don't like it (Casey third still is the biggest problem) but its better than the crap he throws out there. Everyone say it with me one more time - - Rich Aurilia should never get more at bats in a game than Casey, Griffey, Randa, Pena and Dunn.

What kind of an asinine argument is it to try and say that you're going to play the lefty-right match-ups while batting Pena, who absolutely DESTROYS lefties, in the SIXTH SPOT???????

Does anyone have the team .OPS/.OBP splits Lefty-Righty?

Aurilia should only be batting in a head of the pitcher.

ahh looks like another tasty Reds lineup.

Just what I wanted to see for my first in person Reds game this year Rich Aurilia on the field and Adam Dunn batting seventh.

Jerry Narron really knows how to push a guy's buttons

Anyway, I'm off to the game boys and girls. Behave yourselves in the interim.

Casey should never get more at bats in a game than Dunn, Griffey or Pena either. The parade of incompetents continues.

Id rather have that lineup than the current one... but I would rather see Griffey moved to 3rd, Pena or Dunn 4th & 5th, Casey 6th, Aurilia 7th, Larue 8th.

Re: July 8th - Reds vs. Diamondbacks

Some notes entering tonight's game @ Arizona...

    * The REDS record vs. the NL West is 4-9 (.308).
    > Lowest winning pct. vs. NL divisions & interleague.
    >> NL East 10-10 (.500), AL games 7-8 (.467), NL Central 12-25 (.324).
    > REDS starters vs. NL West: 64.2IP, 87H, 54ER, 46K, 20BB.
    >> 1-7 record, 7.52 ERA, 1.65 WHIP.
    > REDS bullpen vs. NL West: 48.1IP, 73H, 35ER, 31K, 22BB.
    >> 3-2 record, 6.52 ERA, 1.97 WHIP.

    * Last year the REDS were 3-3 vs. the D-Backs.
    > 1-2 at home, 2-1 in Bank One Ballpark.
    > The REDS outscored the D-Backs 26-15 in total runs.

    * Ramon Ortiz is 4-6 w/ a 6.59 ERA in 14 starts.
    > 3 quality starts.
    > ERA by month: April = 5.00 ; May = 5.74 ; June = 8.29
    > 18 HRs allowed. 2nd high behind Milton.
    > Averages 5.17 innings per start.
    > Ortiz has 3 games with 2 IP or less. The REDS have 5 total as a staff.
Small market fan... always hoping, but never expecting.
