Good to see Olmedo batting 2nd over Dunn. I guess Dunn's .538 OBP in the two spot isn't needed. Plus Dunn makes Lopez that much better when hitting 2nd.

    Dunn-batting 6th

    .179/.292/.339

It almost seems like they want him to fail.

But Olmedo has a .500 OBP, and a 1.389 OPS.

Is there any reason why a young guy like Pena can't play every day? I can see spelling Griffey, but Pena? Oh well. As long as it's only one game.

I'm with you. If anyone needs frequent rest its Griffey, not 23 year old WMP.

But these same people decide to bat Casey 3rd and Dunn 6th every night so maybe its a good thing we don't think like them.

FWIW, it looks like Narron is taking a look at batter vs. pitcher before deciding who plays,

    vs Webb

    Aurilia 1 for 11 3K
    Cruz 2 for 4
    WMP 1 for 4 3K
    LaRue 0 or 5 4K
    Valentin 0 for 3 3BB
    Casey 5 for 11

I've noticed that too -- he's been doing it regularly. I might not always agree with Narron's line-ups, but I think his head's in the right place. Miley, on the other hand...

Olmedo will end up with more at bats then Dunn

(since Puffy isn't here right now)

    THAT SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN

Olmedo should never get more at bats in a game then Casey, Griffey, Randa Dunn, Valentin or Cruz.

Did I just say Cruz?? What the heck? Maybe Olmedo should get more at bats in a game than Cruz, I make no judgments on that

Graves just came into the game vs the Pirates. He served up a RBI double, walk and a grand slam to Jack Wilson.
