Breaking: Brits arrest 3 at Heathrow Airport (updated 10:55)

According to ABC7 Los Angeles, the Brits have just arrested 3 at Heathrow Airport.

    Update:
U.K. Police Say 3 Men Arrested at Heathrow Under Terror Act July 10 (Bloomberg) -- Three men were arrested earlier today at London's Heathrow Airport under the Prevention of Terror Act, police investigating last week's bomb explosions said.

``It would be inappropriate and pure speculation to draw any direct linkage to the attacks in London,'' Deputy Assistant Commissioner Brian Paddick told a news conference.

Paddick declined to provide any other information, saying that people are arrested under the act ``every week.''

Separately, police said 49 bodies have been removed to the mortuary from the sites of Thursday's four bomb blasts in central London.

``As far as the search teams are concerned, there may well be more at Russell Square but they don't think there are going to be more at the other sites,'' said Andy Trotter, deputy chief constable of the British Transport Police.

The bombings on the three subway trains took place within a 50-second period, starting at 8:50 a.m. local time, with the bus blast coming 57 minutes after the first train explosion.

    LONDON (AP) - .......

Three men arrested at Heathrow airport on Sunday under anti-terrorist laws were released later in the day without charge, police said.

Police had cautioned against linking the detentions of the men - all Britons - to the Thursday explosions on three subway trains and a double-decker bus in which at least 49 people were killed and 700 wounded.....
