    A couple:

Texas Son - a texas blues band based in Rochester, NY. Had some regional success a while back - truly terrific guitar work and a hoot to see live.

The second his a personal friend, Erik Bachsmith, singer-songwriter who just never had it in him to take risk and get his material truly heard.
Nothing to see here. Please disperse.

Kasey Chambers - check out her album "the Captain" - she's real big in Australia, so I hear.

Although many have heard of Ratt, Warren DeMartini's name for the most part is obscured. One of the finer "Hair Metal" musicians that came from that era. He actually has talent.

How, then, are those people of the future—who are taking steroids every day—going to look back on baseball players who used steroids? They're going to look back on them as pioneers. They're going to look back at it and say "So what?" - Bill James, Cooperstown and the 'Roids

Stevie Blaze: Lillian Axe, One of the most under rated bands that I've ever known. This guy is a neo-classical kind of rock guitarist, a lot in the style of some guy named Randy Rhoads.

Cool. Glad to hear they're making an impression outside the ski resort circuit of the Rockies.

I'm not usually a devotee to "hippie groove bands," but they take it to a different level.

I agree. Have you seen Hamsa Lila? They're a disturbingly good looking bunch of hippies who play traditional african string instruments. Kind of grooves like the jame in "The Other One".

Going to see Cracker/Camper here on new years.
