Go Gators!
Lets review
There seems to be a lack of imagination coming out of the north east, Tenn Georgia and Florida seem to like the same style...I sense a red white and blue theme being used quite a bit.
Go Gators!
Utah and Wyoming always have cool plates.

Your Mom is happy.
I like the 1963 basic black California Plate the best. Maybe cause I'm conservative.
I agree on Wyoming, what's funny is they don't need to put many numbers on it due to lack of people
The new New York tag is kind of spiffy
Go Gators!
Four states with websites on them, Florida, Georgia, Indiana and Pennsylvania
Go Gators!
I used to get Honeycomb cereal when they included a mini-license plate back in the day! Loved to collect them.

First, these people need to update their tag pictures. Here are some of the most popular tags in VA. These cost $10.00 more per year than the standard tag, which looks like the 1993 Series pic in post #17. In fact, the tag number freaked me out so bad, I went outside to check my tag number. Mines ZXT-****. Whew! I'm sure most states, if not all, have the specialty tags as well. VA has about 180 of those, from the NRA, all the colleges, to homeschooling. Geez, the DMV has a book two inches think to choose from.
The second comment, the one that will get me banned for life is this. North Carolina is "First In Flight", so screw you Ohio.

"...its money well-spent. Don't screw around with your freedom."

They are missing a few, in Florida they don't have any of the FSU tags..shame
Go Gators!
I liked the current Arizona and Wyoming tags.
My guess would be that most states have the special interest tags. Almost impossible to show them all. I thought it was a really cool website though.Originally Posted by KronoRed

All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.
Absolutely nothing cooler than having an old car with the California black plates.Originally Posted by RedBloodedAmerican
A lot of the shops geared toward foreign tourists in SF have old license plates. They're popular with Japanese tourists I'm told.
