    Ceiling Fan Rotation

    Ceiling Fan Rotation
Ceiling fans should rotate counter clock-wise in the summer (to generate a breeze downward to cool you off) and clock-wise in the winter (to cycle the warm air that rises to your ceiling.) Do not be afraid to run your ceiling fan in the winter. You can expect a 10-15% savings on your heating bill. You can save up to 40% off your cooling bill in the summer

You ever pick out one blade of ceiling fan and try to follow it for a while?

I swear I only do it after the paint dries.

So, all ceiling fan blades are tilted the same way?

    It's an ANSI standard.

    Re: Ceiling Fan Rotation

The ceiling fan is not the object rotating. I contend that the world is rotating around the ceiling fan.

There's a switch in a ledgendary land and only the special ones know where it is. Since you don't know this, you obviously aren't special.

Should be a switch on the side of fan. Switch down to cool, and up to heat. At least that's the way it works on mine.

Were you born under power lines or something? Tan is the WORST color for ceiling fans. Back in 1203, the Lord of Perth decided that tan ceiling fans were prohibited and this law has migrated to the United States where it has been upheld MULTIPLE times by the Supreme Court.

Sheesh, you need to get out more.

In the Reds' clubhouse, even the ceiling fan rotation has an ERA over five.
