    Re: Classic Rock

How can you have a poll of classic rock bands without

    The Beatles
    Led Zeppelin

    ????

    The Blues Brothers ?
    The Clash?

I don't think I'd call them classic rock.

I like me some Steely Dan, Teh Who & the Stones though.
School's out. What did you expect?

I can't vote in a poll that doesn't include Led Zep, the Beatles, or Deep Purple. Wow.

    Re: Classic Rock

you know what is cool about the phrase "classic rock", and being a fan of the genra?
you can say about ANYONE is a classic rock musician.
    The Ramones. Classic rock.
    Sonic Youth. Classic rock.
    The Polyphonic Spree. Classic rock.

well, except Vanilla Ice. That was just pure crap.

oh..btw...ZZ Top, The Ramones, Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, The Faces, Cream, Yes, and Heart could honestly be considered for this list - along with many of the others listed above. On the bubble would be The Cars, Blondie, Talking Heads, U2, and ABBA would be on the bubble.
yeah. i said ABBA. i like ABBA.
    got a problem with that?

    Re: Classic Rock

its pretty much hard to include any band in a poll when you're talking about a genre cause everyone has their own opinions about it
