The most beautiful place on earth to me is a little hard to get to, but thats the point. 2 hours north east of Duluth Minnesota is a town called Ely, Minnesota. I have been there 5 times, canoeing, camping, portaging, and soaking it in. It is my place. You can go into the american side (boundary waters national park) or the Canadian side (Quetico National Park);. I prefer canadas side, it is less crowded. The water is so clean you can drink out of the lakes. You all must go there.
